Ski - Enfants

Piou-Piou		A Piou Piou badge is given to any child who has not passed his/her Ourson after a week of lessons.
Ourson		A "snaking" line of snowplough turns on a run of 4 to 5 poles. Easy Nordic-style course Beginners' direct line facing down the slope finished with a snowplough turn
Flocon		Series of 7 to 8 snowplough turns with the skis brought back to the parallel position in between, over a suitable marked out course Elementary direct line across the slope following a roughly straight trajectory Test of balance when skiing while facing down the slope (with little jumps, from one foot to the other or over little bumps, etc.) on a gentle slope.
1ère Etoile		On a moderately steep slope, completion of a series of elementary sideslip turns over a suitable marked out course Direct traversing line following a curved trajectory Step turns on a gentle slope (starting off at an angle)
2ème Etoile		Series of around ten perfect elementary turns over a suitable marked out course on a moderately steep slope Basic sideslip direct line passing over hollows and bumps Basic skating step
3ème Etoile		Series of around ten basic turns imposed by 10 to 12 poles on a moderately steep slope Basic single garland on a moderately steep slope Perfect direct line to build up speed, finished with a braking sideslip, all on a moderately steep slope
Etoile de Bronze		Non-timed line assessed by the pupil's ability to complete perfect basic turns, with two changes of rhythm on a varied slope (alternating medium, short and medium-radius turns through 15 to 20 gates) Basic short radius turns. Passage over bumps with slight take-off on prepared piste or terrain (skiercross-type run)
Etoile d'Or		Short giant slalom, timed (maximum 50% more time allowed compared to opener) Technical series of perfect broad and high-speed turns over varied terrain (slope, snow, etc.)

Ski - Adultes

1er Ski		Becoming familiar with the equipment and snow Balance while sliding over smooth terrain on a gentle slope Snowplough turn Controlling speed using a snaking trajectory Using ski lifts
1er Degré		Descending in an elementary turn on a gentle to moderately steep slope Elementary direct line Elementary sideslipping: uphill swing, at an angle Step turns sliding uphill
2ème Degré		Descent with a basic parallel turn on a varied, moderately steep slope Basic direct line Basic sideslips and garlands Basic high-speed turns
3ème Degré		Descent with perfect turns on all types of piste Perfect direct line Perfect high-speed turn Experience of skiing in all types of snow and terrain

Flèche		SLALOM GEANT 25 to 35 gates and a drop of 200 to 250 m OR 0 to 17 % VERMEIL 17,01 to 30 % ARGENT 30,01 to 45 % BRONZE 45,01 to 60 % FLECHETTE 60,01 to 65 %
Chamois		SLALOM SPECIAL 30 to 40 gates and a drop of 120 m to 200 m OR 0 to 17 % VERMEIL 17,01 to 35 % ARGENT 35,01 to 55 % BRONZE 55,01 to 75 % CABRI 75,01 to 80 %
Fusée		DESCENT 15 to 20 gates and a drop of 200 to 300 m OR 5 VERMEIL 10 ARGENT 15 BRONZE 30 % allowed in more than minimum basic time.
Skieurcross		Completion of a series of different tricks taking in whoop-de-doos, table tops and banked turns on a slope of approximately 15° and 700 m long. gold: 0 to 17% vermilion: 17.01 to 30% silver: 30.01 to 45% bronze: 45.01 to 60%
Saut		JUMPING Ski jumping from a jump Or 10 VERMEIL 20 ARGENT 40 BRONZE 60 % in less than basic jump -2 jumps successfully completed out of 3.

Snowboard

Snowboard Accueil		Changing direction on both sides of the fall line Elementary rounded turn Direct line facing down the slop, normal foot or fakie
1er Snowboard		Completion of elementary turns Forwards and backwards sidesliping or fakie direct line traverse Elementary swivel garland or jumping at will with the snowboard flat
2ème Snowboard		Completion of basic long-radius turns Completion of basic short-radius turns and elementary fakie turns Basic garland or basic ollie with the snowboard flat

PARCOURS TECHNIQUE Series of various figures including hoops, tables and bank turns on a slope that has approximately 15°  inclination and is 700 meters long. OR 0 to 17 % VERMEIL 17,01 to 28 % ARGENT 28,01 to 40 % BRONZE 40,01 to 68 %
