Julien, originally from Paris, discovered skiing at the age of 21 months, thanks to his father's deep love of the mountains. Every holiday was spent on the slopes, where he took ski lessons year after year. At 12, he stayed in Arêches to train with the local ski club, which set him on the path to top-level competition.
At 18, he joined the French junior national team and became a strong FIS racer, competing in several European Cups. His career highlights include 15 FIS points in slalom (96th in the world) and 20 points in giant slalom (120th in the world). These results allowed him to obtain his first BEES certificate under the High Level Athlete status, later followed by his second BEES certificate in alpine skiing and physical training.
Not one to settle for just one sport, Julien also pursued an elite career in road cycling. Today, he teaches alpine skiing, snowboarding, telemark and ski jumping. His favourite slope? L'Éclipse. He is also an ENSA instructor, sharing his expertise with budding ski professionals.
Outside of sports, Julien loves mountain running, road cycling, mountain biking and swimming. He loves to ski and still has a passion for slalom. But above all, whatever the sport, he loves sharing the experience. In summer, you'll often find him enjoying a good barbecue with friends.
