Lilou grew up in a ski resort in the Pyrenees. She put on skis for the first time at the age of 3 and joined the ski club at 6. She went on to study in the ski section of the Pôle Espoir all the way through to high school. After she turned 18, she continued to compete on the FIS circuit while pursuing her law studies as a top athlete. At the age of 20, she decided to stop competing in order to concentrate on her ski instructor diploma.
