Born in Courchevel, Yann put on his first pair of skis at the age of 3, thanks to his parents. He took his first lessons at ESF and then joined the local ski club. A passionate skier, he decided to take a baccalaureate in skiing at the LEP in Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne.

Yann has been teaching downhill skiing, snowboarding, ski touring, telemark skiing and snowshoeing for 23 years.

His favourite slope? La Combe des Pylônes.

He works as a carpenter in the spring and loves outdoor activities.
